Assistant Vice President

Experience:

7+ years of Investment Banking experience in the relevant sector. Deal closure experience is a must.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• MBA or CA qualification.
• Strong financial modelling skills and the maturity to understand critical deal terms.
• Experience at an investment bank with solid transaction exposure across multiple deal types.
• Proven ability to independently lead transaction execution, including investor outreach, pitch preparation, term negotiation, coordination with vendors, advising on and finalizing definitive documents, and deal closure.
• Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and transactions with strong attention to detail and quality deliverables.
• Expertise in developing valuations for complex transactions across diverse sectors.
• Excellent research, quantitative, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and explain market events.
• Capability to independently lead sector coverage, originate new business, and develop in-depth sectoral understanding.
• Experience in managing transaction execution by coordinating due diligence and presentations across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong networking skills within the Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) ecosystem in India and overseas.
• Proven ability to monitor and mentor junior team members, ensuring their professional growth.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.
