Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support

  • Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
  • Support students during class activities, group work, and practical exercises.
  • Monitor and maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.

Student Engagement & Learning

  • Provide additional support to students needing extra help.
  • Assist in evaluating student progress and maintaining academic records.
  • Encourage participation, curiosity, and critical thinking among students.

Administrative Assistance

  • Help prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and visual aids.
  • Maintain attendance records, grade sheets, and other classroom documentation.
  • Support organization of school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with lead teachers, students, and parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to implement lesson plans and teaching strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Professional Development

  • Stay updated with teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
  • Assist in incorporating technology and innovative methods into teaching practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching, or relevant subject area.
  • 1–5 years of experience as an Assistant Teacher, Tutor, or Teaching Assistant.
  • Good understanding of child development, teaching methodologies, and classroom management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, online teaching tools, or educational software is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
