Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies targeting IAS aspirants and coaching institutions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities by targeting schools, coaching centers, and individuals preparing for IAS exams.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain deep knowledge of the company's products/services, particularly those related to IAS preparation, and communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Client Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and a high level of engagement.
  • Market Research: Monitor and analyze competitor products and services to identify sales trends and market needs.
  • Sales Reports: Track sales metrics and KPIs, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with business goals.
  • Event Participation: Attend educational fairs, workshops, and seminars related to IAS preparation and education, building awareness of the company's offerings.
  • Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education sector or coaching services.
  • Experience with educational institutions, especially those offering IAS/UPSC coaching, is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Sales Acumen: Strong ability to close sales, manage relationships, and meet targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade clients.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional customer support and resolve issues quickly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Knowledge of the IAS/UPSC examination process and educational requirements.
