We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Weld Shop in India. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the welding operations, ensuring high-quality standards, and managing a team of welders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the weld shop
• Supervise welding activities and ensure quality control
• Train and mentor junior welders and staff
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
• Maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with production teams to meet project deadlines
• Monitor and report on welding performance and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a welding or fabrication environment
• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with welding equipment and tools
