Job Description
The Assistant Manager – Sales (Projects) plays a key role in driving sales growth and market presence for MYK Laticrete within the assigned territory. The position involves managing the projects segment, ensuring timely collections, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and gathering market intelligence to support business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 55% – Sales Growth: Maintain and grow the projects segment within the assigned territory in line with the targets set by the organization.
- 20% – Collections Management: Ensure timely collection of payments as per MYK Laticrete's commercial policy.
- Communicate effectively with dealers and customers regarding payment terms and conditions.
- Monitor dealer stock levels and market credit to maintain timely payment cycles.
- 5% – Reporting: Communicate all activities regularly to the reporting manager and head office.
- Submit daily activity reports as per the defined format.
- 10% – Market Intelligence: Collect and share market intelligence from the assigned territory.
- Track competitor activities continuously and report insights to supervisors and head office.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager/Area Sales Manager to implement strategies protecting MYK Laticrete's market share.
- 10% – Personal & Professional Development:
- Stay updated with MYK Laticrete's product portfolio and application knowledge.
- Understand competitor products and their market positioning.
- Continuously enhance professional selling skills and construction industry knowledge through guidance from managers and HQ staff.
Skills and Specifications:
- Ability to communicate technical aspects effectively with architects and interior designers.
- Strong network and rapport with architects, interior designers, contractors, and engineers in the assigned geography.
- Excellent knowledge of the assigned territory and local market dynamics.
- Sound understanding of the construction industry and related materials.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Aggressive sales personality with a goal-oriented mindset.
