Asset Finance Functional Consultant

What you will be doing

• Drive and prioritize development initiatives
• Translate user stories into clear, development-ready descriptions that are easily understood by development teams.
• Own and manage the backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.
• Define user story acceptance criteria, accept user stories, and refine stories in collaboration with Scrum teams.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on test plans to confirm application changes align with acceptance criteria.
• Develop Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.
• Track development progress and share updates with stakeholders as requested.
• Facilitate planning and review meetings to communicate feedback related to development accomplishments.
• Partner with product owners and product managers to define and/or translate requirements and modifications into product designs.
• Play a key role in delivering the Asset Finance (AAF) Solution and its various modules.
• Conduct client requirements gathering workshops, build project plans, and run data mapping/requirements workshops.
• Support clients in data validation and reconciliation testing, including system integration testing and UAT.
• Assist PS/Pre-sales by preparing and delivering product presentations and demos to clients.
• Enable the sales organization by providing domain-specific and market-specific expertise and product knowledge.
• Investigate client needs, assess trends and best practices, and produce detailed program specifications.
• Build a deep understanding of product strategy, market dynamics, industry factors, and client objectives.
• Work with stakeholders to identify business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of Auto & Leasing Finance requirements and current regulations applicable to existing and prospective clients.

What you will bring

• At least 10 plus years of experience in product management, design and/or development of software products and services for the Auto, Leasing & Lending (Commercial, Retail, Auto Finance, Asset Finance) domain with strong track record of progressive experience and responsibility.
• Experience applying product management principles and methodologies; familiarity with the software development lifecycle, release management, and change management.
• Experience delivering using agile approaches, including Kanban, SCRUM, and SAFe.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems as well as application development.
• Strong business, technology, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels within the organization.
• Capacity to perform under pressure in fast-paced and demanding environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
