AS400 Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, review, and test AS/400 programs/modules
• Work on support items and issues reported by customers
• Act as a single point of contact for issue resolution, clarifications, and process-related activities, coordinating with both customer and offshore teams
• Plan, track, and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to improve efficiency and customer service
• Create and document new development procedures and processes
• Collaborate with business teams to understand goals and align technical solutions
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment on technical matters
• Work on less complex applications and issues while maintaining quality standards
