AS 400 Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements for AS400 applications
• Design, develop, build, and test applications using COBOL/400 and CL on AS400 platform
• Maintain and enhance existing AS400 applications and legacy systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues
• Support core banking and financial services applications running on AS400 environments
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation activities
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality processes, and project timelines
• Participate in system enhancements, migrations, and modernization initiatives where required
