Application Tech Support
Job Description
• Act as the interface between client systems and applications ensuring smooth operational support and service continuity
• Perform installation, upgrade, and maintenance of NNM/NPS/NA/iSPI in high availability and failover environments
• Handle integration of Network Management tools with multiple fault management systems and third-party tools
• Configure and manage LDAP, SMTP, and SSL for network management applications
• Perform discovery and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Resolve discovery failures and integration-related technical issues
• Generate and customize reports in NPS and schedule automated reporting workflows
• Support migration activities across NNM/NPS/NA/iSPI environments
• Integrate NPS/NA/UCMDB/OBM with external tools including automation platforms
• Perform basic and advanced network discovery and monitoring configuration
• Work with SNMP traps, polling mechanisms, and monitoring settings for network visibility
• Develop automation scripts using Perl and Shell for operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to ITIL framework, SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs
• Participate in service improvement initiatives and maintain 24x7 support readiness
