Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP HANA, you will design, develop, and maintain application solutions with an emphasis on the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). The role involves working on the design, development, and re-engineering of highly complex application components, including integration of software packages, programs, and reusable objects that run across multiple platforms.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop Application Solutions: Design, build, and support application solutions focused on HANA version of ABAP, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Integrate Software Packages: Integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects deployed on multiple platforms, applying expertise in SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture.
• Re-engineer Application Components: Re-engineer highly complex application components to improve performance, scalability, and reliability, using ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and the Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA.
• Model Data using HANA Studio: Develop data models in HANA Studio in line with best practices, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Consume HANA Live Models: Use HANA Live models to provide real-time insights and analytics, applying knowledge of ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core Data Services.

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to SAP ABAP HANA: Experience working with the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), including designing, developing, and supporting application solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture: Understanding of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, including data modeling using HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Experience with Data Modeling: Exposure to data modeling using HANA Studio, following best practices and ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Understanding of Code Performance Rules: Familiarity with the Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, including ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core Data Services.
• Integration Experience: Experience integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Working Knowledge of HANA Live: Familiarity with consuming HANA Live models to produce real-time insights and analytics, leveraging knowledge of ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core Data Services.
• Exposure to Database Procedures: Understanding of database procedures, text search, and ALV on HANA, including data base procedures and HANA Live models consumption.
• Familiarity with ABAP Core Data Services: Knowledge of ABAP Core Data Services, including data modeling and code performance optimization techniques.
