API Test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in API Testing and Automation
• Proficient in Rest Assured and Java
• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, including TestNG or JUnit
• Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger OpenAPI
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Solid understanding of authentication methods, including OAuth, JWT, API Keys, and Basic Authentication
• Practical experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket
• Experience utilizing defect management software such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
