API Lead consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate both business and technical requirements to formulate detailed API testing plans
• Design, develop, and implement API test cases and scripts
• Conduct Functional, Integration, Regression, End-to-End, and System Testing
• Verify API request and response payloads, status codes, headers, and error handling mechanisms
• Test APIs based on REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and Microservices
• Execute backend data validation through SQL queries
• Create and sustain API automation frameworks
• Identify, document, and retest defects
• Work collaboratively with developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Engage in Agile Scrum ceremonies and assist with release testing efforts
• Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in API Testing using Postman
