API Lead consultant

Core Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in API Testing and Automation
• Proficient in using Rest Assured and Java
• Thorough understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols
• Familiarity with automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Experience utilizing API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger OpenAPI
• Knowledge of build tools including Maven or Gradle
• Solid grasp of authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT, API Keys, and Basic Authentication
• Practical experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise in API Testing technologies, including Postman and Rest Assured
