API Automation tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design & test case based on requirements.
• Conduct exploratory & negative testing.
• Execute test scripts in multiple environments.
• Defect identification and retesting.
• Providing solution and designing framework for API automation.
• Writing automation script.
• Performance testing of API.
• Designing CI/CD pipelines for test suites.
• Reviewing test codes.
• Experience and knowledge with cloud infrastructure.
• SQL basic knowledge required.
• Experience of testing in Agile Environment.
• Experience in performance testing as well as API testing required.
• Experience in API automation as well as continuous testing as part of CI/CD required.
• Understanding of test plan, test strategy, test management etc.
• Good communication.
• Tooling requirements: Rest Assured, Selenium, TestNG, Jenkins, Java, SQL, Git, Jira, Splunk, Postman, Kubernetes.
