Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Maimsd Technology is seeking a skilled Android Developer proficient in Java and Kotlin to translate designs into high-quality, maintainable code and build high-performance mobile applications. You will be a key player in our mobile development team, working closely with cross-functional teams, staying updated with the latest Android technologies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable Android code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code primarily in Kotlin and Java.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., UX/UI designers, backend developers) to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the Android SDK and different versions of Android.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience in multi-threading using Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Android memory management and optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of Java and its application in Android development.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose is a significant plus.
