AI interaction designer

Job Overview:

• The designer will be responsible for developing AI-driven interfaces, conversational flows, and prompt-based interaction models utilizing Generative AI design tools and innovative AI workflows to achieve scalable design outcomes.
• This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the effectiveness of our digital products and services, while also fostering and implementing ethical AI design principles in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Primary Duties:

• Project Oversight
• Lead workshops for requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, and discovery of AI-led solutions.
• Conduct in-depth user research, including ethnographic studies and contextual inquiries, emphasizing AI-integrated experiences.
• Establish research strategies that align with business KPIs and objectives for AI adoption.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking across AI-first and digital product environments.
• Create AI interaction models, conversational pathways, and decision-based interaction designs.
• Design information architecture (IA), sitemaps, and navigation frameworks for intricate AI systems.
• Craft ethical and responsible AI interfaces that effectively convey system behavior, agentic confidence, and outputs.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, incorporating AI-driven UI patterns and micro-interactions.
• Outline UX-centric solution architecture that merges AI agents, data, and engineering considerations.
• Work collaboratively across teams to confirm the technical viability of AI-enhanced experiences.
• Establish reusable design patterns, components, and guidelines for an AI design system.
• Promote the uptake of AI-enhanced products through user-friendly and reliable human experiences (HX).
• Enhance user decision-making and engagement via transparent AI interactions.
• Facilitate quicker design-to-development cycles by utilizing AI-assisted workflows and design systems.
• Convert AI concepts into user-centric experiences for business stakeholders.
• Test design concepts with customers through co-creation and usability evaluations.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to represent AI model behavior accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Experience Design frameworks and governance standards.
• Oversee project sign-off, quality assurance gates, and closure documentation.
• Maintain repositories for design artifacts and knowledge archives.
• Continuously monitor and integrate emerging trends in AI, Generative UX, and interaction design to enhance product experiences and design methodologies.
• Document and present the approach to project delivery, highlighting key decisions, processes, outcomes, and insights.
