Job description
Responsible for the delivery of network planning, design, implementation & optimization services .
Create Low Level and High-Level designs of SDWAN and Route/Switch networks utilizing industry best practices with hardware to include Velo Edge and multivendor Lan devices.
SDWAN Velo Cloud / Cisco Meraki Technology experience required ,Experience in zero touch provisioning of SD-WAN edge devices
Lead the delivery of network solutions including Velo Edge's, switches, firewalls, load balancers and other network hardware appliances as needed.
Oversee/perform new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
Must have at least 3-5 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing Velo Cloud SDWAN Edge and Route/Switch hardware.
Experience creating logical design models in VCO VeloCloud Orchestra
Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, VCMP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TrustSec).
Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). Experience with inter-company routing is preferred technology.
