Accounting and Reporting Consulting

Uniqus is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC) team. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality accounting advisory services, focusing on the application of accounting standards, assisting clients with financial reporting, and navigating complex accounting issues. You will be instrumental in supporting Managers and Associate Directors with project execution and overall management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, conduct thorough research on accounting topics, and prepare detailed technical memos.
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards for clients.
• Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Support the Manager / Associate Director to manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.
• Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development.
• Stay up-to-date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Identify engagement and client service issues, and research and benchmark client data against industry data.

Requirements:

• We are looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing accounting and financial reporting support to clients.
• The incumbent will work for top global clients across a wide variety of markets and industry sectors.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CAs with experience working in technical accounting/financial reporting.
• 2-4 Years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
• Possess strong domain knowledge in accounting and financial reporting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to work under pressure with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
