Job Description
A sales professional with good technical background, responsible for Telecom customers in India. His / Her main objective is to drive sales by creating new leads and maximizing revenue for Mobile Connectivity Solutions - Product and Services business.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for account management including strategy formulation, customer relationship management, opportunity identification and deal closing.
- Present Thales product and solution portfolio to key accounts.
- Manage existing customers to develop partnerships within telecom industries for the region.
- Increase market share, revenue and margin in-line with quarterly and yearly objectives.
- Implement a reliable 6-month forecast in order to ensure delivery.
- Responsible for commercial operations such as pricing negotiation, contract signing and collection.
- Prepare business plan for set of costumers in the region.
- Product and services strategies for the set of accounts.
- Coordination of different internal groups within Thales in order to fulfill the business plan.
- Definition, coordination and preparation of commercial proposals and integrate technical proposals with other internal groups
- Market and competition analysis.
- Travel: You will be required to travel often to customer site and over-seas travel depending on location of the customer.
- Report market needs, opportunities for solutions & services, competition activity and recommendations on product definition.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of developing & managing B-2-B accounts.
- Comfortable to sell cloud based software, solutions and services.
- Knowledge and Experience in selling telecom and IoT related product and services.
- Existing relationship with Telecom Service providers marketing, network, IT teams
- Fluency in English and demonstrated presentation skills
- Self-driven & an enthusiastic entrepreneur with the ability to work under pressure. Be a team player with strong coordination & communication skills, with the ability to work with high integrity & close attention to detail. Strong business acumen.
- Result-oriented and a strong time manager.
Education
- Bachelors of Engineering
- Post Graduate Diploma (MBA) or equivalent degree from a reputed institute in Business Management is preferred
