Ab Initio Admin

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Administrator with 5 9 years of hands-on experience managing, monitoring, and supporting Ab Initio environments
• The right candidate should demonstrate expertise in installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Ab Initio platforms across development, testing, and production environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Ab Initio software components
• Monitor Ab Initio jobs and ensure reliable execution across all environments
• Handle environment setup, migration activities, and release deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving Ab Initio applications and infrastructure
• Administer EME projects, users, groups, and security permissions
• Carry out performance tuning and capacity planning for Ab Initio environments
• Collaborate with ETL developers, application teams, and infrastructure teams
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes
• Create and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures

Technical Requirements:

• 5 9 years of Ab Initio Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of
• Ab Initio Co Operating System
• Enterprise Meta Environment EME
• Conduct IT
• Control Center
• Experience with Unix Linux administration and shell scripting
• Understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Control M or Autosys
• Experience in application deployment and environment management
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Understanding of production support processes
